One of the greatest albums of all time, by one of the most under rated Bands of all time.
The blessing and the curse of "No Rain"

- carsonagenic

Shannon Hoon was damaged goods long before "No Rain" was a hit. Sad nonetheless.

Out here in Chilliwack the first blueberries were grown under tarps. Most of those are for export.

Unbelievably bad weather for lower mainland.

I have a brother out your way, I say you like living in Chilliwack? His response is I don't I live in Sardis.

Saw that yesterday. Shameful even though it's all about the integrity of the game.

Simmons is just bitter that Toronto got shafted. Games played out west will be broadcasted by a Canadian crew. Trust me, if it was the other way around you wouldn’t of heard a peep out of Simmons. The guy is a tool.

I did take into account it was Simmons (who should live in Alberta with the amounting of crying he does) but it is a joke to have only the US tv crews doing all of the games.

technically I’m in Cultus Lake not Chilliwack but it’s easier to call the whole area Chilliwack so people know what you’re talking about. Sardis is literally on the other side of highway 1 from “old Chilliwack“. It’s essentially “new Chilliwack”. Funny that he made that distinction. But the old part is rather pathetic.

This whole end of the Fraser Valley is on the Sardis Plain. It’s a beautiful area, and a whole lot nicer than Abbotsford. Abbotsford smells bad.

Saying all that, I live at UBC. Just have a cottage at Cultus.

Yeah, that’s not right considering the talent in TO but NBC will have to use the broadcast centres, equipment, and technical infrastructure to produce the shows. Just not the people but money will be made by locals. Just not people in that business.

But if I was to guess, there are a lot of Canadians that go to the US to work in their hockey broadcasts because of our knowledge of the game and how it should be displayed so it would be interesting to see how many of those NBC professionals are actually transplanted Canadians.

Taking a look at the commentators, the vast majority of them are Canadian... just saying.

Canadians or not the NBC broadcasts are awful, in my opinion. I think they are doing the Covid Cup final in Edmonton.
I don't know how much I will be watching anyways, as summer looks like it might be starting. I switched our sports channels to movie channels at the start of this mess in March. The hub chaos should be fun when all of the teams report. My guess is they won't finish 2 rounds.

Normally switch to NBC anyways as the bias crap with CBC/SN is unbearable most nights especially on HNIC nights. I do like Shorthouse However and Hughson/Simpson with SN.

Suck what up? It is just a guess based on what is going on in the US and then gathering several hundred people in a "bubble". The thingy might get completed or it might not get off the ground. Soccer is setting a good example and baseball is seeing lots of positive tests. It could go either way but time will tell.
You must of being watching angry cartoons this morning, it's made you a little belligerent. Maybe one of your hoax forums can take the edge off. Take care.
