I was hoping they grabbed Z as well.... but then again I was also hoping they would stay away from Brady and see how good that turned out
- bluewaffle

I was on team KK because he is a center. The kid is 20...big season ahead for him

How about the 12 assists in 13 games though?
- Scabeh

Most of them were on the powerplay just passing the puck to Hudon for the one timer. He struggled at 5 on 5

Hate all those easy points.

It's a wonder why other players don't get them.

Tkachuk was a lot more mature physically and it showed at the NHL level. We all said let's give it 2-3 years before we crown who was the best pick but so far it's clear Tkachuk is ahead. How will KK do with a winger like Lafreniere, we will know next year.

I actually like Sanderson alot.

If he's available at #9, wouldn't mind him being the Habs choice.... depending on who's taken before him.

I wanted Hughes but it wasn't amazing foresight, I just always want one of the top rated d men if you're not getting the can't miss forwards. Still like KK and have no real concerns about him

Let's try it differently...you and your prospect cred on the line, how do you actually feel about Romanov?

big with talent and grit, what's not to like except he is a winger and the Habs needed badly a center

The real shame is that they didn't know they were getting Suzuki when they drafted. Then they could have went for the most talented

I think he's well on his way to being a Russian Kris Letang.
