Forget the injuries, 50 games of Letang is better than 82 games of Brett Kulak. |

I haven't followed this year's draft TBH except LAffy vs Byfield to be honest with he context. - MortChicken
He was ranked in the 15-20 range in March but being the 2nd best D in the draft, he's jumped in the top 10, as high as 7 in some mock drafts |

Yeah! But that can be a good thing, don't put the team's future all on his shoulders, even if it probably is. |

I should hope so. More as a multi use defenseman that while not huge can lay out some hits and competes more than you'd expect. Runs a PP well but isn't a Karlsson level guy at it. Skates very well and has a smart shot.
Every time I've seen him I've been impressed. I do think however that the insane levels of hype need some cooling down. Much like Thomas Chabot who people thought would waltz in and become Bobby Orr. On se calme. |

How low are we setting the bar? Are the Montreal Canadiens really becoming the hockey version of the Canadian and American federal elections? |

This I agree with fully. I've only seen him play a handful of WJC games but was quite pleased with what I saw |

Not like they'd use the cap space anyway. Not like they could use somebody who can run a (frank)ing powerplay |
