Yeah I mean they exagerate a little some stuff like speed but it's basically Rocky 1 anime style. But it's really well researched they bring out some style from the history of boxing. The main character fights like Mike Tyson with the peekaboo style.

No when he starts he's just a small shmuck like you who gets bullied and he meets a boxer and he wants to be like him, so he starts with the basics and grows with each fight. If everything it's a great series to learn about boxing and appreciate it more. And it's impossible to watch the whole thing whitout going for a random job, go hit a sandbag or do some shadow boxing in your living room.
