- deadpoulet

if they do they should be fired. yet again.

That's ok, they need to make room for that Dunn kid from Gatineau anyway

yeah not sure the ceiling for Mete is that high, not a bad player, but definitely not 1st pairing material imo

Oh no, think of that yourself, you must play a lot of scrabble. What was the best, absolute best, Dr. Seuss book you read, asking for a friend.

I guess it will come down to how they see Mete or where the other kids will be. Not much prospects on defense, but I guess you go with Chiarot there.

Weber, how much gas is left in that tank ? Time to unload a big contract and send him close to home. Maybe MB can extract something from the Krakens.

I'd trade Petry and Chiarot before the Seattle expansion

Yeah I think they will go 7, 3, 1 as well.

Not sure if they have to let go a good forward. I assume not.

letting go a good forward to protect a very average/almost poopty d-man would definitely not be the best strategy

Team isn't competitive with them in the lineup, I'm sure they can find players to replace them that will allow them to finish just as low in the standings.... only thing that matters is that bottom feeding teams shouldn't hang on to such assets, that's the recipe for infinite mediocrity

a good forward? on a team who missed the playoffs 4/5?
Tatar, Danault, Gallagher
Douin, Domi, Armia
then they will choose to protect Lekhonen

so they would lose either Byron or Mete. omg!

IF Romanov proves to be the real deal and IF the Habs resign Petry, I would expect Mete to be left unprotected and Chiarot kept in the fold.

Lots of IFs there, though.

They won't let Petry walk for nothing. That would be dumb.

I think they will trade him, or at least, I hope they will trade him. But that will probably not happen unless MB is replaced.

He will likely get extended for stupid money and a bad long-term contract that will create problems a few years later.
