If there are legitimate claims and evidence presented that the Blackhawks can be, even tacitly, traced to racial undertones I'm happy to hear the argument. You, however, haven't presented anything that points specifically to the Blackhawks name itself being racist or problematic beyond some vague calls for ALL Native American related symbols/teams from being erased.

i have no issues with the past. people have largely accepted different racial groups and part of having a free society with free speech and thinking is not to force group think. so that being the case i don't have any issues with the current milieu the way it is...

however, that being said if people are being beaten in the streets cuz of their race, raped, murdered, etc... i have a problem with that... people being treated differently by the gov't/ public institutions, i have an issue with that as well....

what private citizens, say or do, that doesn't involve violence/ physical harm, i don't have an issue with that. I don't believe in extorting businesses or private individuals to do anything to address, "racial inequality"
