"Recently at a UN Human Rights Council session, members took a vote on China’s new security law for Hong Kong.

53 nations backed China’s crackdown on Hong Kong. All of them (except 5 countries) are officially part of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). These five are:

Central African Republic
Eritrea
Guinea-Bissau
Nicaragua
Palestine

The rest have received substantial investments and aid from China and are committed to the joint infrastructure project.

27 countries criticized it. None of the 27 belong to Belt and Road.

If you’re wondering why the US is not part of the 27, it’s because the US pulled out of UNHRC."

This is why I stopped playing ball hockey: too many bros playing as if it's the 7th game in the Stanley Cup Finals.
