I'm a little puzzled by the reluctance of the Washington football team to change their name.

Yeah, probably a big hassle up front, but at the end of the day, won't they make a lot more money by fans buying the new merch?

For jerseys I like Leafs, Habs, Oilers, Rags, original Jets, Nordiques, Wings, Avalanche. I prefer the Leafs whites. I liked when the light jerseys were the home jerseys.

I’ve seen him twice including last time (I think) he was here. First time I saw him I had no idea what to expect as I hadn’t been a huge Floyd fan fan. Blew me away. He was the 6th act of 3 day festival in California and it was funny how many were offended and left. Even Cali is pretty liberal all kinds of people walked out.

I find that pretty incredible considering he is pretty much a radical leftist. He supports the BDS movement, is on board with climate change activism, has been a champion of Socialism for years, etc. Crazy that a largely left leaning crowd would react so poorly!

I've only seen him once on his The Wall Live tour back in '10. It was a pretty phenomenal concert and I don't remember him spouting anything particularly politically "offensive". Wonder what he was on about in the Cali concert you went to!

I've always felt that the white jerseys looked a lot more generic than the colour jerseys. From what I understand, the NHL decided to go with light jerseys for Home teams back in '70 to show off the visiting team's jerseys... for Reezins.

Sorry if I overstated how many people left. It certainly wasn’t the majority but it was noticeable. There are still pockets of real conservatism in the state and it’s possible some left just on the Israel/Palestine issue.
