Hayes.
I say JVR, but I don’t know Hayes game enough to make the call - OurSaviour_34
JVR is way more talented than Hayes, not even close IMO. He's still good for 27 to 30 goals on the right team. Doubt that Hayes will ever score 30 in his career. Hayes is 3 years younger though.

Peak 2020 idiocy is some ding bat refusing to wear a mask at a hospital and filming it and then posting it on twitter and being shocked at the lack of support.

JVR’s cap hit is high because he took a 5 year deal as a 28 year old UFA.
They could of gave him 7x6.
If the Leafs had the money I’d take his cap hit in a heart beat. His skill set is rare on the PP and he scores 30-35 consistently. - Santo_44
To be fair, he's only scored 30 goals twice in his career (11 years). Granted, he was on track for 35 a couple years back but missed 16 games... not sure if that should count though as he has been more consistently hurt in his career than he has being a 30+ goal scorer.

Gostisbere and Schenn. The best future #1 defense pairing to never happen. - Leafs43
So what the hell happened to Gostisbehere anyway? He had a phenomenal 17/18 campaign, then they reduced his ice-time the next season (assuming b/c Provorov), and now it appears he's completely fallen off a cliff.
