There will be some very good players made available. I don’t think the Canucks will have either Gaunce or Pizza to choose from this time.

Can't see Boeser moving it's a great Benning pick.

Toffoli will be resigned IMO.

Could see Tanev/Jake being packed up after we get bumped by Minny.

- LordHumungous

I am only guessing of course but I see something like this. Canucks will get a first round pick one way or the other and NJ with 3 first round picks.

I think with the D Tryamkin and Stecher will both be signed 1.5-2 mil each and Briesbois will be number 7

Benn will be placed on waivers and refuse to go down or he does and it is 1.1 -2 off the books. Benn can get another NHL contract if he refuses to report.

Briesbois replaces Fattenberg
Stecher replaces Stecher (cheaper thean his current contract)
Tryamkin replaces Benn .
If Tanev returns it will be cheaper than last year, There are so many possibilities including the draft to see how Canucks build the rest of the roster.

Keep in mind that after May while the season is on the Canucks will have access to Podkolzen and an addition to the forwards.

I think it could be Jake but more likely Boeser moved unless
by some fluke we will the draft lotto.

I’m not sure what’s funny. Those were literally the best players the Canucks has who weren’t protected last time. It won’t be the same this time.

Like the old saying goes, you have to give to get. Moving either of these 2 is kind of like the deal we did for JTM, and for the same reason.

I think one of Jake or Brock gets moved but what we trade for depends on the draft. We have a 50/50 chance at a top 15 pick . Not hoping they lose though.

I think they are just pointing out that Seattle will get a stacked team. Of course no one knows what the exact line up will be.
- VANTEL

Wondering on their approach to how they want to build is my curiosity. Get solid in goal i imagine but a top F line don’t see it. On D probably tough for RHD.

I think we are in store for plenty of ammo to talk/bltch about no matter how it plays out. Not worried but it’s getting to the point where the rebuild has created some problems both good & bad to varying degrees. Guess we’ll find out the direction JB goes coming this off season.

I read somewhere before that SJ will probably expose Burns for cap relief and that would be a hell of a start to Seattle .

Seattle are coming in at a very opportune time with it being the third year of a flat cap. I can see a lot of teams offering to move contracts.

They won't be as good as Vegas and what McPhee was allowed to pull with all his side deals...but they will be decent.
- LordHumungous

Still irks me VGK is exempt for the e-draft.

Pearson will be a UFA & as much as I like him it’s hard to see him getting resigned.

Boeser is good asset if traded but snipers are not a depth we have. If it’s scoring by committee which is very possibly an option he could be moved.

Again there will be many decisions ahead & surely will create a huge buzz.

Good point other than they are younger. Vet UFA signings are what caused this. Gotta bite the bullet & move some of those out to keep all the kids.
