But the Leafs have Dart Guy.

I think Dart Guy should sue someone based on Gritty's looks. Gritty just looks like a orange, furry Dart Guy.

The resemblance is uncanny.

Giroux is a better playmaker while JT is more of a sniper. I like them both but I would take Giroux. His overall value is more than Tavares. I am sure Giroux is harder to play against but I have also seen Tavares when he is lights out, both great players.

Taveres has an Olympic Gold medal....fraud Giroux doesn't even get invited to try out for Team Canada....

Tavares is a soft, vastly overpaid and over-hyped player who's monotone voice has done nothing to inspire leadership into his never win a playoff series teams. Giroux plays with heart and leadership that every team would want.

Yet Isles fans desperately begged him to stay, and then cried like babies when he left.

Weird, given what a terrible player he is

The playoff argument is weak considering he hasn't played NEARLY as many, but still, at .87PPG in the playoffs vs. .94? That's pretty darn close considering JT has played less than half the number Giroux has, not to mention JT had a much weaker supporting cast on those NYI teams.

The dot? Who cares?

JT has been a more consistent point producer through his career than Giroux. In general I think JT is and has been a highly underrated player for most of his career.

G was able to elevate the play of his teammates leading to more success in the playoffs. His counterpart has done fair in regards to individual production but he has yet to be able to elevate those around him like G has

Skill-wise they are pretty equal. It comes down to personal preference.

Personally, I like Giroux more.
- I think he's better at making his teammates around him better players.
- He is probably better defensively.
- He is more willing to get in the dirty areas and get physical.

I also believe Claude has more intangibles like bigger heart, clutchness, better leader, more loyal.

Did somebody honestly bring up Matt (frank)ing Moulson, Josh Bailey and Kyle Okposo (forgot PA Parenteau) as examples of great line mates?
