It is going to come down to a decision do I want to move to small town NY and ride buses for the next two years for 5 mil less escrow. I think he does play it out. Five mil is a lot to walk away from especially when he will never see that type of money again.

For me it is not revenge or anger. It is about giving his spot to Zack. These contracts will run out and Loui was a huge mistake but I am past that . I want to see new guys like Hoglander Lind Zack and Pod.

Loui retiring would be a bonus but I am not expecting it. Another way of doing it is putting him on LTIR and it frees up his full 6 mil and still lets you bring in Zack. I will leave that to Chris Gear to figure out.

Hopefully this flattening of the cap will control some of these stupid salaries. I hated paying Boeser 5.85 I thought he was in the 4.5-5 range and Contracts over 10 mil are crazy. I think contracts over 8 mil are crazy but that is just me.
