Dumba is actually decidedly not good. He takes himself out of position frequently to try to land a big hit. His offense is overrated. He's had precisely one above average season (back in 17/18). He's never shown that he's capable of playing big minutes. He's got 3 more years at 6M.

Risto has been completely mishandled in Buffalo. Might I remind you how much of a dumpster fire that team is? Risto was playing far too many minutes and is consistently starting play in the d-zone.

A defence with Rielly, Muzzin, Ristolainen, Sandin and Liljegren is solid. Just need one more RHD to pair with Rielly..
Kerfoot and Johnsson for Ristolainen is a good trade for both teams. Although, now that the Sabres hired a new GM, who knows what will happen anymore..

Andersen will ask for a lot of $$ on his next contract. Ristolainen will be better on a better team. Just like I think Andersen would have better numbers if he was on a defensive minded team. IMO, the Leafs need a defenseman like Ristolainen
