Dumba. (For Nylander) - Arctic_AARDVARK
No. If you were to mix a lesser Tyson Barrie with a lesser Dion Phaneuf, you'd have Matt Dumba.
Hard pass. |

Yes, he is.
At the very least, he is better than (frank)ing Kerfoot and Johnsson.
Combined.
By a lot. |

If he needs to be sheltered, then he’s not a fit for the Leafs. Especially when the 3rd pair is expected to be two rookies. |

Wtf? Jesus no!
Dumba’s actually good, not pretend good like Barrie.
He plays with some jam too, Leafs need more jam. |

I don't think he needs to be sheltered. I don't see him getting over used like he is in buffalo. 2nd pairing with Muzzin would be a solid pair.. |

After watching Lily this year, I doubt he’s going to be there next year unless we’re cash strapped. Marincin looks like Bobby Orr compared to him. |

I don't think he was talking about Lilly? I thought he was talking about the new fin.
Leafs seem to think he is ready though, so who knows. He has been phenomenal in the ahl (and considering his age even more impressive)
I have liked what I saw from Lilly. |

I meant either Liljegren or Lehtonen alongside Sandin. At least Lehtonen is 26 or something. Still wouldn’t give him more than 3rd pairing minutes to start. |

Paying him more than Reilly to be 2nd pair isn't good imo.
Trade for him and hope he's the 4th best dman on the team, while being higher paid? |

Creating completion at the bottom with sandin Lilly and lehtonen is good idea I think, as long as one of them doesn't get shelved for months at a time. proper rotation will keep everyone healthy and strong and give plenty of experience to everyone. |

100% he's there next season.
He's better than Sandin right now and he's a righty. |

He had a rough game once as a rookie, he'll never make it.
I think he had some bad luck that made him look not as good and some haven't seen anything other than those couple game and that is what sticks with them, what they use to make judgement.

I’m just meh on him, seems slow and he’s good at fishing the puck out of his own net.
Still young, not writing him off...just don’t think he’s going to be #6 on a Cup team yet. |

Yup. He's done nothing but get better throughout his AHL tenure and was nothing short of excellent this past season. |
