Kerfoot has 3 more years at 3.5M.

Johnsson has 3 more years at 3.4M.

Neither one of these guys is irreplaceable. Kerfoot is the definition of mediocre and is best played in your bottom 6.

Johnsson is a smallish, streaky forward who is also mediocre. The only thing that would make me hesitate is that the Leafs are weak at LW. But, again, easily replaceable.

Dermott? He's behind Rielly, Muzzin, and Sandin on the left side. He's not going to be an answer on the right side and he's due for a raise.

If the Sabres threw in a pick, the Leafs would be laughing.

Sandin is absolutely not ahead of dermott right now. He more than likely will be one day, but he isn't now.

Dermott was the Leafs best D easily when Rielly and Muzzin were out and I thought he was great.

Sandin should not be spending any more time in the AHL and you don't want him sitting in the press box. Couple that with Dermott needing a new contract and you have a recipe for Travis getting shipped out.

He's mediocre and has been largely sheltered. The rose-tinted glasses fans have for the home-grown Dermott are over-sized.

It's terrible. It's a massive overpay for a Medicare overpaid dman who doesn't help improve the team.

I'd rather keep dermott and play him on the right side. Way better bang for the buck.
