I see a lot of comments out there calling this system a joke . I don't really understand the anger. No matter what they did people were going to complain. At least now 16 fan bases are excited.

Yup

I think there is no losing this year .

A ) We win and play in the playoffs.

B) We lose and have a one in 8 chance in winning the first over all

C) We lose and draft top 15 and get another very good player.

I think all scenarios are welcomed.

I hate saying this but even though the numbers are high about having symptoms and testing positive the number of people under the age of 50 dying is very low.

Example Auston Matthews tested positive but is still expected to report to camp on time. I don't know what info these sports leagues have so it is impossible for me or most to really know what is going through their minds.

Well what i do know is that it’s shut down. And the reason it’s shut is still running wild. I see just as many reasons why it stays shut than it opens. You’re right it’s about money and getting it rolling in, but i wont be convinced until the puck hits the ice

They are packing heat today.

OK I'm making ribs tonight. Here's what I've got so far as a loose recipe. It's the first time I've tried it.

Marinaded for 16 hours in my favourite Rye.
Poured juices into pot on stove. Cut ribs into appropriate lengths. 1/4 inch slits between the bone at both sides. Into pot.

Added 1/4 cup ish each of of Apple Cider and Malty Beer, and another pinch of Rye into the pot over medium/low heat.
Added some fresh garlic clove from my garden. A mix of spices, and a tablespoon of honey from a colony of bees I kept a few years ago. Brought to rolling boil, reduced heat to low rolling boil for 30 minutes, flipping the ribs once.

Now, I've reduced heat to low and will wait for a couple of hours. Slow cooking. In an hour I'll start my cooking fire, Alder. I suppose it's time to hit the woodpile.

How do you explain the Oilers then? Their owner is one of the richest people in Canada and they are in no way shape or form in financial trouble. Neither are the Leafs and they won Auston Matthews.

Getting the first overall pick isn’t as important as drafting well in every round, however, getting access to a top five pick is invaluable to a franchise especially when you’re building a core of players.

I think playoff experience coming from a season like this might be overrated. There are no fans which a a large part of the playoff experience and home ice advantage. It's really about who's in better shape to play the first couple of rounds.
