I know next to nothing about Mr Lowe but I can read hockeydb and form an opinion.
here it is: I'm not sure why I would want to visit the Hall of Fame when (not if) I visit the GTA, honestly. I'm not even kidding, what's the point? I've seen it all on TV and gaining entry probably comes with a cost ... which then is used to support the people making selections like Mr Lowe's (I assume) ... no thanks, I'll pass

yes, of course there is admission to the Hall of Fame. But it's a great place too. Why would you want to? It's not just a wall of faces. There are a lot of exhibits, with stories, and quite a few interactive things to do to. I think it's pretty safe to say you haven't seen it all on TV.
It's your prerogative, if you don't want to, but it's a fun few hours. It's a little silly to boycott a fun experience because you don't agree with a few people honoured, not because of some egregious thing they've done, but you just don't feel they've accomplished enough.
But that's your choice.
