all states who re-opened too soon will
it was soooo predictable
and could have been avoided with decent leadership from above - fidopro
well the states decide when to re-open, etc... it's not up to the federal government. You know, a feature of their federalism |

California, Florida... same thing. you just don't want to see the truth and play on words.
protests happened in all 50 states. in all countries in fact.
yet cases are spiking in some states who re-opened too soon. not in NY, not in Canada, not in Europe...
so you can rule out these protest as a major vector for the spreading. |

many states followed the WH orders. lead by example! open too soon and don't wear a mask!
I'm done with you anyway. lost enough time.

Liberate this. Liberate that. They're reopening too slowly, they need to get open immediately. No I won't wear a mask. The unbelievable cluster(frank) of testing mess. What would it take for you to admit Trump has completely (frank)ed this pandemic up? I'm actually curious |

So mass gatherings can't spread a virus, but a backyard BBQ can? Oooookay |

I'm old enough to remember Trump saying it would go away with warm weather. Is it warm in Florida, Texas and California in June? |

Trump could have handled this a lot better, but let's not act as though states obeyed his psychotic tweets on how to handle things. Especially in NY, MA, MI and CA for example. |

We know he's a dummy, but states didn't say oh we'll open up because trump said wait til the weather's nice |

It's a (frank)ing godsend they didn't obey his (frank)ing tweets. He has been an abysmal failure throughout the pandemic. When Trudeau and Doug Ford look like historic statesmen by comparison it truly tells you what an utter embarrassment Trump has been |

Really? You don't think De Santos in Florida takes his cues from Trump? His whole pitch is "I want to be Trump's lap dog"...it's what got him elected. You don't think politicians in Texas or Arizona are paying attention to Trump's lead? |

You deflect really well, it reminds me on Trump's interview last night on Hannity where he was asked what he'd do if given the mandate for a 2nd term and he literally couldn't come up with anything so he went into a mess of verbal diarrhea about experience and Bolton before Hannity just took over and changed the subject. Whataboutism doesn't address the issues but hides insecurities |

You said thank God those states didn't listen to him, but one of those states had one of the worst responses.
Sorry you wasted time watching that. It would be like watching the Cuomo bro prime time hour and taking that seriously too. |

If you can't take the words of the most powerful person on the planet with even mild seriousness that would be a problem most should take seriously |

Also...are you arguing New York would be better off today if they'd listened to Trump's advice? Or was that another deflection? |

It's really hard to take anything he says seriously. Especially when it comes to things where he should come off with empathy. Though I think he is quite serious when it comes to his main campaign issues |

different situation imo.
NY got hit at the very begining of the pandemic, over 3 months ago. noone knew anything about the virus at that time. NY is a very big city with people travelling from all over the workd. not saying they didn't make any mistakes, but they managed the reopning very well and are now in a much better place because of it.
southern states now spiking are more rural, they had 3 months to see it coming, they could have learned by experience, listen to the CDC recommendations (not Trump's ones obviously). this could have been avoided. easily. |
