What did it take to get Trochek? FYI, rule of thumb in Boss GMing is present value of future pick is round +1. Ergo 2021 1st equivalent to 2020 2nd, which isnt worth much. Think it’s going to be 2020 1st or Reinhart that will be what is required to get a 2C. I honestly was very bullish on Casey’s potential as well and totally admit I was dead wrong.

I happen to agree with Chad that Mitts will still be an NHL player I just think it will be on the wing. His speed and defensive awareness will always hold him back from playing the middle.

Unreasonable expectations are set upon top picks. If you're drafted top5, you're a superstar...or a bust like Samson.

And the WJC's decide a lot of people's impressions. Everyone remembers his WJC, it was fun to watch. 17pts in 7 games...WOW. Everyone remembers Forsberg getting 40+ in 15 games...nobody remembers Esa Keskinen scored 32 in 14 too and never played an NHL game.

Having a pretty strong season in Europe. Reignites some of the interest that made him a top 3 pick perhaps? Mitts showed ok in the A. Honestly, would rather keep mitts and try to get Poolparty some other way

My question was more about Puljo, however, Mitts has good speed and wasnt3 a complete tire-fire on defense...imo the only thing that is holdimg him back is an immature body
