Who is this development guru we're going to hire? I thought most people wanted an established coach who could start being accountable for results? Right now it seems like the former USNDP, College and AHL coach who preaches a fast, attacking, and supportive system would be the first choice - rmdevil313
Doesn’t he already have a job in Smashville? |

I think it's tough for most fans to see that we're a bad team and had a mediocre coach so we would just lose regardless of who's coaching. |

Yes we are a horrible team and the coach isn’t changing that; but while the analytics didn’t improve much the overall play under Nas was better and stayed that way even as we traded away talent.
So while we try to build a better team it’s important to have a quality coach and systems of play in place. Nas isn’t the right guy but did a pretty decent job as a fill in.

I get that we won't be good next season, but eventually we have to start looking for progression no? And I don't think we are a completely unappealing project for a coach. We have lots of young players already + 4 first round picks over the next two years. I am sure some coach out there is willing to bet on themselves over a project like Detroit or even Minnesota who may need a full rebuild.
