man, have you guys tried that mock draft site, draftprospectshockey, you can sim the lottery and then draft your team.

i tried only the first 5 rounds (cuz frankly after that it's pointless and just complete guesswork). i got a little lucky with the lottery, but this was my team. it's a fun way to waste 5-10 minutes

Ottawa Senators
1) Alexis Lafreniere
2) Quinton Byfield
21) Tyson Foerster
33) Justin Barron
49) Joni Jurmo
52) Carter Savoie
55) Ridly Greig
64) Luke Tuch
74) Alexander Pashin
95) Nico Daws
152) Gunnarwolfe Fontaine (literally only picked him cuz i want a guy on the team
named Gunnarwolfe)

I would be VERY disappointed if the Sens drafted 5th and 6th. The only way I'm ok with it is if Jamie D is gone at #4 & Sens take both Sweeds

I think Dorion would also be pleased with Jamie and one of the Swede wingers. I don't agree agree with this. I agree with YOU. But I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Dorion picked Drysdale at 3rd or 4th (given we nab Laf, By, or Stü with our first pick). We know how much Pierre loves his D. If he got one of those three forwards, he'd probably WANT Drysdale. I hope I'm wrong. I just don't trust Dorion's affinity for defencemen.

Very fair points.

To be honest I don't know how I feel about drafting Jamie Drysdale. Right now the Sens have Lassi Thomson and Jacob Bernard Docker both drafted with their last 1st round choices. In fact, the Sens haven't selected a forward (who's still in the organization) since Logan Brown. I would be very surprised if the Sens don't take 2 forwards in the top 6.

*to clarify, this is a great position for us - I just really think having a top 3 pick is a HUGE thing for this rebuild and it would be disappointing (with the odds) not to get at least one. Fingers crossed*

Interest on Ty Forester. Don't know much about him but that seems like a very good selection. I also like how you spred it around (LW, C, RW, D, etc)

5-10 minutes? Boy, you're a lightweight. I could spend hours doing this over and over. Lol
