Not true. Antifascism movement was started by communists to recruit members in the 30’s. - drexel
It was started by the KDP (communist party of Germany) strictly to oppose the Nazi’s. But today antifascists aren’t full-on communists. Social orders change over time. But yes, in the beginning (1931-32) the German Communists (not the Soviets) started antifa. |

Antifascists don’t like communists...
Absolutely I’m antifascist. - Arctic_AARDVARK
Historically, Antifascists were communists, socialists, and anarchists.
There is no doubt that many members of this current iteration of Antifa largely consist of people who espouse those ideologies.
I'm not making a judgement calls here, but to say they "don't like communists" is a bit disingenuous.
Also, we really should make a distinction between what it means to be anti-fascist and to be a member of, or to support, Antifa.
EDIT: Looks like you've already addressed this above. Nvm! |

ANTIFA use communist, Marxist ideology. They're on the opposite end of the spectrum as Nazis but just as idiotic because they're extremists. You clearly don't understand how they operate and most people don't because they're intentionally subversive and nebulous to avoid being shut down. - JohnFergusonJr
They believe in civil disobedience to achieve their objective.

1. Seriously? Trump gets to talk about Floyd George feeling good about equality when he refers to people legally protesting his murder as terrorists.
2. Trump retweets Candace Owen referring to George as “not a good person”.
3. White House fudged the “good” unemployment numbers and even the good ones showed black unemployment going up.
I’m sure there’s a word for someone like you who continually supports racist narratives - Canada Cup
I think the word is conformist, or enabler would be one too. Dupe. |

Disingenuous but also dangerous and not enough people know how bad they really are because A) liberal media has kept them ignorant and B) because if Trump says something they must automatically believe the opposite because orange man bad. |

Your corporate liberal media lied to you. Again. And you still buy it.
Equal justice under the law must mean that every American receives equal treatment in every encounter with law enforcement, regardless of race, color, gender or creed, they have to receive fair treatment from law enforcement. They have to receive it. We all saw what happened last week. We can’t let that happen. Hopefully George is looking down right now and saying, 'This is a great thing that’s happening for our country.' This is a great day for him. It’s a great day for everybody. This is a great day for everybody. This is a great, great day in terms of equality. It’s really what our constitution requires and it’s what our country is all about. - Trump
https://www.newsbusters.o...context-floyd-job-numbers
Rioters and ANTIFA is who he called terrorists and justifiably so because they've easily infiltrated protests and caused terrible amounts of damage. Billions of dollars of damage, looting, 17 deaths (including 2 black cops that you probably don't even know their names), fires started, firefighters assaulted, countless others assaulted, black neighborhoods destroyed. But those are "protesters".
George Floyd held a woman at gun point and did jail time for armed robbery. The day he died, he had meth and fentanyl in his system. You can literally see what appears to be a small bag of white powder fall out of his pocket as he's being arrested. He did not deserve to die at the hands of the cop and without a doubt deserves justice for what was done to him but you'd have to be insane to consider him a hero or a good person. He was a victim of terrible police brutality but he wasn't a saint.
Democrats and corporate liberal media perpetuated lockdowns that lasted too long that led to unemployment being worse than it needed to be. Democrats and Republicans alike voted to give corporations big bail outs to the tune of 5 trillion dollars and give the average person (frank) all. The difference being, Republicans wanted to re-open the economy while Democrats wanted to hide inside until 2021.
Then, when people tried to peacefully *GASP* protest the lockdowns (no looting, no fires, no deaths, y'know an actual peaceful protest), people like you condemned them and called them stupid. Nurses went from blocking protests to kneeling for protests within two weeks. Fantastic 180.
But now protesting is allowed because reasons. Either corporate liberal media was lying (or wrong) about lockdowns or they don't care if black people "protesting" all get infected with COVID-19. Which one is it? You can't have it both ways. The real answer is: the rules only apply if it fits the extreme leftist narrative at the given time.
So typical, scream "racism", attempt to run to a moral high ground and claim virtue. If you call an actual racist a racist; they own it like a badge of honor. But if you call a person who simply doesn't agree with you a racist and try to shame them into your ideology, that person eventually votes against you. The thing that people like you don't realize is the people you call racist resent being called racists because they aren't actually racists. That's why Trump won in 2016 and that's why he'll probably win again in 2020.
There's a word to describe people who support this narrative which you perpetuate; hypocrites. - JohnFergusonJr
Your poop is getting old but more revealing. This is an another important moment in US history when racism is being directly and forcefully confronted. We can either support those that are protesting racism, we can ignore them or we can undermine them. Those that undermine them are supporting racism either they don’t know any better or because they are racist themselves.
It’s hard to argue that you don’t know any better since you work so hard to twist things to support racists and racist narratives.
It’s hard to find a rational explanation for you defending the fact that Trump talked about Floyd George looking down and saying it’s a great day for our country. The guy was a victim of a racist murder and systemic racism and Trump was trying to pimp his memory without ever speaking a word of support for those looking to address racism. Why do you twist yourself to defend Trump this way?
Again you either lie or just accept other people’s lies that Trump doesn’t call protesters terrorists. He posted a letter from his lawyer that specifically calls those people in Lafayette Park protesting peacefully before they were tear gassed terrorists.

You and Trump love to bring Antifa into the conversation. What better way to to discredit the protests and their cause. Here’s the problem, the story of Antifa’s involvement in the protest is bullpoop according to the FBI. You’re partially right though. There have been terrorist arrests since the George killing. Unfortunately, they’re not Antifa or any far left group. The only terrorist arrest has been far right, white supremacy groups. Sorry if that doesn’t fit.

Again why do you work so hard to support a racist narrative that undermines protests against racism?
Why do you think it’s cool for Trump to support those that do the same thing by trying to undermine George’s character? Is he a defence lawyer trying to victim shame? What goal does he have, hours after evoking George’s name and saying he is looking down happy to try to smear him? Is that bringing people together or just undermining the goals of the protest.
Lots of people disagree with me. I’m not sure what that has to do with racism. In my view your constant efforts to support a racist President arguments that undermine protests against racism raise lots of red flags (to be really (frank)ing generous).

To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure if there is a cohesive goal.
I think a lot of the "members" of Antifa are most certainly anarcho-communists, some are straight up Marxists, some pure anarchists, and some truly wish to shine a light on and remove all traces of what they would describe as current day "fascism".
I don't know if JFJ is a "fascist idiot". Nothing he has said politically here has bothered me as much as any of his Leafs hot takes. |

Read the speech that they took out of context. I posted it to make it easy for you to read. He was talking about the protests being a good thing believe it or not. But that'd be too hard for your head to believe so much so that it might explode.

Again, there's plenty of independent journalists reporting on ANTIFA. The article you posted is one day, not the entire course of protests over the past 10 years.
Again why do you work so hard to support a racist narrative that undermines protests against racism?

Again, two weeks ago protests were demonized. Now, it's as if COVID-19 doesn't exist anymore and protests are perfectly okay. |
