I disagree. I think Hall will age well. A great point was made regarding Zach Parise. Hall will be Parises age right now, when his next deal expires.

Is Parise going to be a terrible contract going forward, because it was a 13 year contract? Yes. Is he worth all the money he has been getting the last year or two? No, but he certainly is still a solid top six player and well worth the first few years of his contract.

Hall is actually really similar to Parise. Great leader, really gritty, can play your top line or your bottom line as needed. I think the next 8 years will look exactly like Parises and if that proves to be true, it’s worth it all day long.
