I think so as well. In the 2 years he's been GM, he's done fine. I just wish Marner signed for less money.
- PatC80

Nylander too.

*runs*

But seriously, Marner probably makes a bit too much, but what are you going to do. Dubas couldn’t have a Nylander 2.0 situation on his hands.

I like Dubas. I think he’s done a good job.
- RickJames77

I like that he’s got a clear vision and has the guts to stick to it. The fact that he convinced Shanny to go with it tells me a lot. The fact that much of the brain trust here disagrees is even more reinforcing.

The Nylander contract is not an issue. 6.9m for a 30 goal scorer is fair value. I agree though that the Marner situation couldn't drag on into the season.

I Endorsi GGITS as a Leaf thread ref!

I like and understand the reference but, man, do I hate that the anime spells her name like that.

I promise to use my mod-god powers for good! And also some bad.

I’d prefer a people’s collective but failing that, full dictatorial powers to someone with good taste in music in the next best thing.

If we go with the people’s collective idea, I’ve got dibs on Commissar of Tractor Production and Propaganda.

I figured as much. Although to be honest, this pot should not be stirred anymore. I'm running out of soothers to calm UG.

If he was a RHD it could be justified but he's 33 I think now. Wouldn't be a good fit.

Fair nuff. I wonder if Dubas circles back on a Subban trade. He’d be cheap to acquire as well.

Subban at 50% retained would be great. I like P.K. Subban. Even if he's not as good as he was 2 years ago.

I think a return to the spotlight would really help Subban. He would want to put on a show in Toronto I’d bet.

Muzzin-Subban pairing?
- Steven_Seagull

I think that would be ideal. Subban can still be the risk taker that he is and Muzzin can cover for him defensively when necessary

Pfft. You'd just spread Bruins propaganda and profess your undying love of William Nylander..
