But you acknowledge that 71 percent of polled American voters said they support the use of the National Guard to supplement city police forces in addressing “protests and demonstrations” (the poll did not use the word “riots”) in American cities? Because that was the specific point I was talking about that you replied to. I was talking about backlash from people with someone else. The longer this continues to be riots in the streets, the less people will disagree with Trump.

Feel like any mod on the site would take him down at this point, just a read through today's comments alone would do it. The Canucks mod is always permaban horny... 👀

I acknowledged your point. Yo showed me the numbers from the poll. You have very helpfully raised new issues from that very same poll. Do you acknowledge that Americans believe that Trump is doing a bad job?

No, you actually didn't. My point was talking about the backlash from riots. Not protests, not demonstrations but riots. There's a difference. Maybe in your mind you think they're the same but they aren't. MSNBC likes to pretend everything is fine and dandy while fires burn in the background.

So the video by Tim Pool and the poll numbers he was talking about show that 71% of Americans support the use of the National Guard and they didn't even mention riots, just imagine if they actually called them riots.

For you to acknowledge my point, you have to acknowledge the fact that the longer violence occurs, the longer riots occur, the more people will side with Trump and the use of force.

That's not to suggest he's handled everything perfectly but that wasn't what I was talking about. You talking about how he's handling sub-sections of the whole situation is a different question with a different set of numbers and answers. You responded to my point with something that had nothing to do with my point and you're trying to go in a different direction.

I did agree. I said that the numbers you presented are a completely accurate reflection of feelings on the use of the National Guard. Satisfied?

I still haven’t heard you acknowledge that they also believe that Trump is doing a bad job. It’s right there in black and white.

But again you avoid the fact that the longer there is violence, the less people will disagree with him. Unless of course he doesn't show force which I'm sure you'd criticize him for that too because that's the MO.

I'm sure they do in some respects but not all. That won't stay that way if the violence continues which was my original point. People might be pissed off today but the election isn't tomorrow.

The longer this goes and the more tear gassings at churches and innocent people walking from grocery shopping get shot in the face with rubber bullets the less they will side with the orange dufus.

The longer this goes and the more bs rhetoric this bumhole spews like dominate the streets, show no quarter, unleash the most vicious attack dogs the less like they they will side with him.

Keep dreaming.

Is it just me? I'm not impressed with Liljegren at all. Not sure if it's a "yet" thing but I don't see anything special in him at the moment.

Liljegren was easily the Marlies best the past two years. Give it time and he'll be for sure a good Leaf.
