Without back reading this entire blog what’s the consensus on Liljegren other than a cap necessity?

He’s fine. They aren’t rushing him. Doesn’t look like he will end up being “the steal of the draft” that most hoped for, but looks to be a serviceable 4D. Picks in that range have done less. Much less.

What about representative democracy?

You mean the type the Democrats rigged (their own party to prop up Hilary over Bernie) and then complained about with 3 years of Russiagate conspiracy theories when they lost the election?

It's funny because in 2016 people joked that Trump would stir up a Twitter civil war if he lost but in a twist of irony the Democrats have been doing that for four years and mostly with no legs to stand on.

No, I mean that if members of the democratic party are concerned with race relations, they may desire a running mate for biden that has first-hand experience of being discriminated against. AKA someone who supports their interests and the advancement of their policy goals.

I think you're underestimating the black vote and the surging support for the BLM movement.

I'm not suggesting that identity politics is morally correct but it certainly has power and may be a key factor for the Dems come November.

Votes don’t elect a Pres the electoral college does. All voters can do is elect the Senate & House not the buffoon in the White House.

You're underestimating the backlash from riots will have on the rest of the country. Not to mention the backlash from the quarantine which was mostly a lefty pushed idea. I saw a poll that said 71% approved of Trump's use of force from Tim Pool.

Having better policies, ideas and actions is what matters. Someone saying "we need a black woman to get the blacks and the women to vote for us" is in it's own way racist. It's the backward way too many Democrats think. Just like they whined that America is sexist because they didn't elect Hilary even though half the country is women. They didn't vote for her because they didn't like her bullpoop.

Get the best people, regardless of the identity politics.

People who have first hand experience in the subject matter are arguably more likely to come up with effective policies about said subject matter.

Just got back from camp. I’d recommend anyone who can get out into nature to do so. Refreshingly simple to ditch the phone and evening news.

This thread has gone to poop. If I knew how I’d post a link of of Bonnie Tyler’s- Holding Out For A Hero....

Someone fix this.

Your facts are off. Hillary won the popular vote & is one of only 5 who lost the presidency to the electoral college.

Popular vote isn't how you win so it's irrelevant and she campaigned like an idiot with a bad strategy that even her husband disagreed with.

Yeah, no. According to Ipsos, a real polling firm, one-third of Americans approve of his handling of it while 55% disapprove with 40% strongly disapproving. 64% support the protesters.

That poll was released today and was conducted on Monday an Tuesday so they weren’t able to ask how they felt about have the military attack priests so Trump could get a photo op. Who knows maybe he would have gotten a bump for that. He did look good there stroking that bible like he thought it was Vlad’s thigh.

I went back in the thread to see today’s matchup and Kahn is hotter than Kirk.
