i let people get the last word all the time. it's not the last word that wins an argument or discussion, it's the best word. people who need to say things like "i don't care if you don't care what i said" are always hilarious to me.

It is a slippery slope and it assumes people are smart enough to follow along and understand the joke without misinterpretation, which in the days of Twitter, Tik Tok, Facebook and Youtube is asking too much.

and after a while i noticed something in his voice. not an accent but just something. so i goog'd him and he's from haddonfield, nj, like 20 minutes from here.

there are words where he can't hide the south jersey accent. also, if you ever hear him say the word "what" he says "wot", which is a classic overcorrection people make when trying not to sound south jersey accentish, which can make words wooder instead of water or woot instead of what.
