All these vids on social media of these riots are (frank)ed up.

Jesus christ.

If this is what they think protesting is, they need to give their heads a shake.

There is a theory (unproven) that police were nervous about doing their jobs after the reviews into their behaviour at Ferguson and as a result homicide rates went up. So the problem is the protest into police behaviour, not the police behaviour that was being protested? This is the problem that society has to look at with an open eye?

I think we all need to be brave enough to keep on blaming the victim.

While we’re at it, let’s blame Colin Kaepernick for giving Chauvin the idea about taking a knee.

Police need to investigate crime, regardless of who commits it. If they don't do that, crime rates go up.

As for Chauvin, he is a murderer who will be processed by the system, and incarcerated.

Of course but there was no connection between reductions in investigations and increases in homicides. Even if there was does mean cops who kill shouldn’t be investigated?

Your point is that because blacks protested blacks being killed by cops blacks are responsible when cops stop doing their job? Do you do policy work for Trump?

The charge is currently 3rd degree murder and I would think based on the reaction it will be raised to 2nd degree murder before it gets to trial. Manslaughter will likely be the charges for the other three boneheads that were present.

One can only hope.

I doubt there will ever be justice in the case of the garbage that are throwing molotov cocktails and destroying the businesses of innocent people for the sake of a few hundred bucks of loot. This sh!t has nothing to do with the goal of eliminating racism and systemic racial profiling.

IMHO, by the time if trial, the murder charges wil be dropped.

It depends what his police protocol is and how the police are trained in that division. If what he did wasn't part of the protocol, he's really in trouble. If it was somehow part of the protocol, he throws blame at the police training and tactics as a defense. Autopsy also said there wasn't any traumatic asphyxiation so that might also change how he's prosecuted.

The head of the Minneapolis police union spoke at a Trump rally and thanked him for ending the “handcuffing and oppression” (unfortunate language) under Obama. I guess we know what an unrestrained and free MPD looks like.

That’s your perspective.

Riots are the voice of the unheard. What’s changed since black people have been protesting against police brutality? Nothing.

This is how you raise the stakes, elevate the situation, and move the issue forward. Peaceful protests don’t work. The POTUS is a fascist, these aren’t normal times.

Storming a state Capitol with automatic weapons isn’t peaceful, it’s a threat.
