One side protesting, the other side full of white supremist. The fact you try to down play the side of the protestors and having a few decent people in the mix and the other side was regular people with a few bad apples shows your true you.

The silver lining for the GOP is that even though it is unintentional, they are thoroughly tanking which will hopefully persuade them to blow it up and rebuild PROPERLY. Perhaps actual contemporarily relevant, adaptable conservatism can emerge once the current fundamentalist, post-truth conservative-in-name-only dinosaurs have disappeared into the tar pit. They will be replaced.

Sorry but more than 80% of black Americans believe that Trump is racist and that he has made racism worse. Blacks believe that the most important issue in the next election is removing him from office.

You should explain to them that they’re wrong and that he’s really in their side. Your arguments are pretty persuasive.

I ask them for money, remind them how much money they collected the year before, remind them they are a rich organization that does not pay taxes and it is their duty to help people. They usually walk away.
