Haven't they been launching rockets since the 60 s ?

I just googled and they estimate 35 000 -40 000 space launches (rockets) have been done to date.

Space X is cool and unique b/c it's the first manned launch of a private-public American made rocket, meaning they don't need to rely on NASA solely going forward.

Also offers a bit of hope in these bleak times for exploration, collaboration and dreaming big.

Maybe we'll do a better job on Mars.

Something like 560 new cases in Quebec yesterday. WTF are they doing there to make themselves so susceptible to this virus? I don’t get it.

I get it but it is like a private company building a car. They are just paying and using someone else's technology.

If you guys think it is cool good . I look at it as wandering over to YVR and watching planes take off and land.

Agree. It’s a private company that’s leading this. It’s amazing. Any other country in the world has to fund their space program (if they can actually afford one) and here’s USA with a few private companies giving it a go.

The European Union has failed multiple times to get their manned space program off the ground and keep failing.

So wasting billions of dollars what did they accomplish? They can put a rocket into space ? What did they gain?

Humongous one of the only guys who believes in free thought and not being one of the sheep. I have no issues being associated with LH.

Could use some diversity in this board.

I posted this link the other day. I'll cheer on Alphonso everyday but will never cheer for the Whitecaps.

You can't get bigger than Bayern. Top club in the bundesliga... Huge following... But there's something wrong with whoever is running the show with the whitecaps

Thats a question no one is brave enough to say.......HAHAHA.

Just clearing something up, when the "first nation proper terminology" question was asked, I honestly asked if Indian was a racist term. General agreement was unless you were middle eastern....white people in this group said Indian was bad. Proudly being of the first nations, I am a proud Indian too. I have always been a free speech advocate, and even ugly speech. Voltaire is right.

But being of the oppressed minority allows me to poke fun of said minority. Ergo I joke therefore I am, allowing you a guilt free laugh. So having Diabetes, I can self appoint myself the King of Diabetes and decree that this is the official diabetes theme song.
