Where would you put grave of the fireflies?

#27 on my list.

Got a bunch of Ghibli movies in there. 6 of them in total I think?

Yeah, I see your list now.

Are you familiar with Satoshi Kon's work? Specifically Perfect Blue and Paprika.

Know the name, but not the work. I will look it up for sure!

Starting an Andrzej Zulawski retrospective tonight.

I'm not really a film guy, I just watch too much anime. For some more recent ones, I recommend Your Name and A Silent Movie. And if you haven't, go watch Akira.

If you like anime, try The Red Turtle (Dudok de Wit) and I Lost My Body (Clapin). Also Don Hertzfeldt movies, especially his shorts.

Dude welcome to the internet.

Since you are lucky enough not to read this comments section frequently, i should point out that all the people insulting you that I recognized only started coming here after I insulted their morbidly obese hero .

Now they won't leave .

- James_Tanner

That's not true I thought you were a dink way before you tried to insult the guy who is going to win in 20. I can't wait for another 4 years of your TDS.

I think I started commenting after you claimed Galchenyuk was better than Domi. Or maybe it was when you predicted Schmaltz and Keller to be 90-point players. Or possibly when you said superstars should not be used on powerplays so they can be rested for 5-on-5 play. It was one of those brilliant takes. I could care less about politics.

I never said it was a better investment strategy. I said that its a better thing to do for most people. This is backed up by all of the facts. I will say it anytime brings it up: it's usually stupid for people to buy a house, and most people have no business doing so.

Well then yes, if you can't afford a house then don't buy one. Kind of obvious

Way too many critically acclaimed movies that 99% of us would fall asleep watching, but hey "experts" say they're amazing, so they must be.

I think he watches those movies wearing a velvet smoking jacket

When Arnold, as a clone, is about to die, he says "I might be back" and if that isn't worthy of inclusion.......

Always funny that dichotomy created between the "boring but critically acclaimed" and the "entertaining and exciting".

A good movie is always entertaining and exciting. It being in black & white, from Ukraine or directed in 1954 shouldn't change a thing.

By the way, I watched 6 Underground on Netflix and enjoyed it like hell. So you might wanna drop your case. But since you drench in a strange inferiority complex, I doubt you will.

My son is a huge studio ghibli fan, he has a large collection of their stuff. I can't get into it though. I really did not enjoy Spirited Away, despite knowing it is roundly considered to be one of the best movies of alltime.

Hence why my list is Arnold and Cage movies.
