It's really not. They're exactly the same thing on opposite sides of the idiot spectrum. They are both corporate media that run "stories" with slants to keep their viewership up and sell advertising.

Classic example. Remember the BP oil spill? CNN ran that story for months. Years later, you'll see BP oil run advertising on CNN.
