There is a comparison. You can compare pre-draft just like there always is and will be. I personally don't think he will be as good as Matthews, but I also think that his style of play if it translates the way it's supposed to to the NHL level will have people saying he is one of the most interesting players in the NHL. He's a nasty piece of work with skill, something every team wants out of any draft pick...you get that at 1 with that elite skill set? It's a very strong prospect.

I personally don't think he will be as good as Matthews, but I also think that his style of play if it translates the way it's supposed to to the NHL level will have people saying he is one of the most interesting players in the NHL. Meh tough to gauge, played in entirely different leagues. Matthews playing in Switzerland against pros in his draft year alone makes it impossible to compare.

What would matthews look like in the Q in his draft year? He scored 40 in his first nhl season.

The slow response to this by all levels of government has been astonishing. How could they not predict the fallout? How could they not immediately realize that this wrongful death is obviously a case of straight up murder.
