They’ll figure it out between the league and the PA - they possibly can get half of a season in, players won’t get half-salary, but won’t take as big a haircut as the current proposal allows.
Losing the revenue from fans will hurt a lot, but unlike hockey, a much higher percentage of revenues comes from TV and radio - national and local. And they need programming. - StLBravesFan
Probably. Just doesn't seem to be the time to be moaning about money in their sphere when a lot of people are out of work.

I'm on your side dude; except, you need to leave, too. You're a nice person, but why are you here? Your posts are almost all negative comments. - just69sayin
Negative ! What are you new here .I have been award Pom Pom's during the playoffs ,been awhile . I were my heart on my sleeve for this team . I am negative when it is called for .A Pandemic in negative , two years out of the playoffs is negative . And making the playoffs in this ruse of a cup run is negative . So ya maybe a little negative lately . Bottom line don't like it don't read it . |

Hawks are winning the Cup. Get you bets in now. Crow is gonna go beast mode.
Fun Fact. Only one state has met the criteria the federal government laid out for opening. Despite all the pleadings of the Mango Mussolini, a few haven't even met two.
Whateves. Live you life but stay the (frank) away from me. Not because of the virus. I generally dislike people anyway. - Elbows15
Agreed. Nylander will win the Conn Smythe. |

Wow going out there .Well that and If De Haan is back, he should be good for thirty some games . If DBC get going and Kubalik keeps going ,that could fire up the PP .The PK was solid . Crow a Pro ,and will be motivated . Core is Healthy , it may be a sanitized style of play ,who knows .That would benefit the core . It may be a bit of a Mickey Mouse cup run ,but HAWKS will take it ,warts and all . |

What are they going to implement as a noise filter in empty barns? The cussing will reach the second balcony. Edso and Foley will be in hysterics less than three minutes into the game. |

I’ve been thinking about this as well, no doubt they will need some kind of filter, shoot the cussing will reach the third level. My son in law was watching a German league soccer game the other day, and they had background recorded fan noise, it was okay. |

Heck, I'd pay an additional fee on my subscription package to have the mics open. Available as an option. Gordie Howe once mentioned that those 'conversations' were the things he missed most, after retiring. Make it optional, and I'm plunking down the green. |

That just may cause some serious mixed feeling among some fans of the Hawks.
It would surely piss off several fan bases, too |

Yes it could. And, it could give viewers an inside education as to what the players are actually seeing on the ice. I'm guessing perceived rules infractions are the cause of a high percentage of difference of opinions. Every poster here has both heard and used foul language. That's not what I'm looking for, to be honest. Would enjoy the heat of the battle and knowing why/who is perceived as the culprits, and if it lines up to what I just witnessed. It'll never happen probably, but it would give us the inside track as never before.

I would pay top dollar to be able to hear playoff-level chirping between the teams. |

You and me both, Chief! Gratified to learn that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Kids can access porn, and we as hockey devotees can't hear lively discussions between players of the best game on the planet? Approach the players union, and I don't think they'd give a rat's patoot. Set up a collection device for some worthy fund, or pass the loot to the players. Sometimes I think people take life way too seriously, and deny themselves a little honest fun.

Could someone please clear up a little confusion regarding the lottery odds for me. If the Lottery is being held late June & the play in round starts mid July. Would the Hawks and the rest of the 'play in teams' know that a lottery pick is in play for the 'play in team'? For instance Ottawa, 'TBD' and Detroit have won the lottery. If that is the case and no play in teams win the lottery, as a fan it would be motivation to keep winning (odd to say). |

Have to admit if this goes through I'll be pulling for the Oilers. Makes no sense to give up at worst a #9-10 pick, and at best a #1-3, for going to at best #16 with one playoff round victory. - RaleighHawk
Agreed this team has no business being in the playoffs. |

But they are in the playoffs (or whatever this is). Why wouldn’t you want the team to perform as well as possible? So they can get an even lower chance than normal of moving up a few slots in the draft? |
