'Only in Vancouver would a GM be in an arbitrary hot seat after producing 3 straight ROY candidates (1 winner, 1 runner up, 1 TBD), something that hasn't happened in the NHL since '69 '70 '71.'

So they’ve declared the regular season over, I wonder if that means the Art Ross goes to Draisaitl? Probably the Hart Trophy too?

John Carlson will probably win the Norris and Tuukka Rask the Vezina?

More importantly Quinn Hughes for ROY.

I think what we all really want to know is, who wins the Masterson?

I hope so but that’ll be a close vote with him playing 11 less games and only having three more points.

Oh no doubt.
He said something like “there is a price to winning “ and “being a leader comes with a cost”

That cost is being ruthless.
Not a cost I would pay.
But makes for great drama.

That doco took me back to that time as a fan.
I fukin hated the bulls.

I criticise Green maybe a couple of times a month. That is hardly the flip side to the constant female doging about Benning day in and out.
- boonerbuck

The voices criticizing Benning are louder because there are more of them, because Benning is clearly doing a worse job than Green, and the smart people can see that...

"We won't be in a position to use any of the Canadian cities as a hub city," without some sort of relaxation of the 14 day self-quarantine that's law in Canada, Bill Daly says.

Screw that. Just do it in USA.

Amen - there’s going to be very little financial benefit for whichever cities host. No employees, no fans, no tourism.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but there is still ongoing conversation on the part of the PA. They (the PA) approved the 24 team playoff format, but they haven’t approved any return to play. Concerned: safety, isolation (family concerned) and money top the list. For example, how much actual (financial) benefit would be realized if they complete this season vs the costs of completing the season.

The players don’t get paid during the playoffs. I thought the players have agreed to compete in playoffs to eliminate the escrow.

I think the hospitality and restaurant/food industry would disagree and that's in part why multiple cities have all put in bids.
