We have a local contractor doing the work (who is highly recommended, and has worked on dozens of houses with our neighbour who built a bunch of houses in this town), but he said on Wednesday of last week, "Well, I'm busy this week, but I should be able to do it next week."

. . .and now my wife and I are in that, "Which next week did he mean? Like THIS next week or NEXT next week?" mode.

I'm still in the cancel the season camp but if it does go on, I hope they win. St. Patricks day is still postponed so once poop opens up again we could have both that and the parade at the same time. I'd be the greatest parade of all time.

I hope it's this week. I can't handle heat as well as I used to. I grew up without air conditioning. It was easier as a kid. Now, if it's hot, I start walking around only wearing a smile and underwear
