I agree with your point if you look at the states opening their all Republican run and the states who have. Decided to keep these unconstitutional lockdowns going are run by Democrats.

Until the us supreme court steps in and lifts these lockdowns you won't see any sports for awhile.

I'm all for safety but my freedom and liberty are my choice not some governors if people d9nt want to go outside or to work that's their choice but the beauty of freedom is to have a choice.

Why are people dismissing CooCoo? I seem to remember he was showing some signs before shutdown.

I think he’s better than most give him credit for too. Not a bad bottom pairing/depth option.

You do realize that all 50 states have re-opened to various levels? Right?

He's terrible. Gets mauled along the walls. Doesn't move all that well. Low hockey IQ. There is a reason TB traded him for Jan Ruutta, FFS

With great freedom comes great responsibility. The responsible thing to do, is to follow the advice of the medical professionals.

NASCAR is huge in the southern states, but not so much up north. I’d much rather watch hockey than seeing cars go around and around.
- Angotti

Overall it's probably 100x bigger than hockey.

It is a rare quality to contradict yourself in the same post.

Wow such a horrible statement to stereotype people. Nascar fans just like hockey fans are mostly blue collar workers. Unlike basketball which is filled with uppity snobs and corporate douches.
- Taylorst1

The millionaires at Daytona probably have nice teeth. Roger Penske is a billionaire and Nascar team owners are not all from the south. A million fans show for a week for the big races. I'm just going by what my brother tells me IDK? He lives in a poor red neck area Fairfax Co. VA.

Or highly placed people who take hydroxychloriquine in the face of overwhelming evidence of its dangers when used for off-label purposes.

I'm assuming the Oilers blogger did some extra research he can back up his conclusions...he wrote this in his previous blog.

An Oilers vs Hawks Playoff Series?

"DEFENSE

In terms of minutes played together at 5 on 5, here are the pairings we are matching up

Keith - Boqvist vs Nurse-Bear
Maatta - Koekkoek vs Klefbom-Larsson
Murphy - de Haan vs Russell-Benning

The Oilers were far more consistent with their pairings this season than the Hawks. The most minutes at 5 on 5 anyone on Chicago played with together was the Keith-Boqvist pairing at 378 minutes. Bear and Nurse played over 1100 minutes together at 5 on 5.

The Koekkoek and Maatta pairing might be the best pairing of them all however, in terms of being the best duo at both generating and prevent shots and goals but with after trading Gustafsson at the deadline, the Hawks third pairing is definitely the worst of the bunch."

I started understanding why people are into Nascar yesterday when I put it on out of desperation, and saw a car fishtailing and burning rubber at 170mph, for 1/8 of a mile, through a soft turn, without crashing. I might be a little more of a Nascar fan now. Also on another side note, I was definitely missing Indy yesterday. I love that race

Nothing like thinning the supply from people who actually need the medication to survive.

Not to mention that the latest report I saw indicates that hydroxychloriquine may do more harm than good.

On 2nd thought, maybe someone should keep taking it.

As a pharmacist, I will say that the dangers of hydroxychloroquine have been greatly exaggerated by the MSM.

I am not ready to sign off on Elbows portrayal of KK. I maintain hope for him for a couple of reasons:

He is playing more and gaining experience. Whether he ever - or in later years - becomes proficient in one -on - one battles and consistently makes good choices......I don't know BUT as #12 overall (or thereabouts) draft choice the scouts saw ability..

He willingly does deliver nasty resounding checks (although not on a consistent basis) and he can skate the puck out of danger. That is a nice combination; often bottom pair or spare dmen only list one of those attributes as a (supposed) strength in their performance style.

If you look closely at the roster KK appears to have one last season to improve to the point whereas his niche is a descent fairly reliable bottom pair. After next season he is gone either due too expansion or a prospect comes along

It is also a possibility due to salary cap and team revenue in the foreseeable future....that either KK or Seabrook will be that extra guy. But both may not be affordable.

Well I always like skating so I am rooting for him. If he improved surely Elbows will admit so.

He's 26. He is what he is at this point. Plus, he doesn't skate well at all. He should not be in the way of Carlsson. At the very least.

Nasty resounding checks? He bounces off guys consistently. Gets mauled down low, He blows ass chunks.

We want better
