I thought he was finding himself in the AHL before the injury.

He has the raw tools and I think most of his problem was getting knocked off pucks too easily. With the added size he’ll be able to attack the danger areas with more efficiency.

Not many players that height with slick hands and a howitzer of a shot (as long as he starts hitting the net with it)

If he doesn’t work out, most of the fan base has given up on him already.

Even if he gives us production at a low salary this organization is starved for value contracts.

- Pegullaville

You’re entirely misreading this kid.

He’s slow on his skates and he processes the game slowly. He isn’t willing to do the work, or it would have been done already in the 4 years since he was drafted.

The difference in the speed of the game from the A to the Natolional League is an order of magnitude. Tage doing well in the A means nothing because that league can’t help with his primary shortcoming - speed on the ice and speed In the head.

EDIT Natolional

It’s a make or break year for both Mitts and Tage, I’m sure that is something we can agree on.

I can’t see Tage making the roster,
so hopefully he can put together a season in Rochester where he’s tearing it up
And then possibly produce a bit during call ups

He’s a bust. A tweener that will never amount to anything other then a return for one of the worst trades in recent NHL memory

We need better goaltending, atleast a better 1B. Hutton over a 13 game stretch that he started through the end of October to January we got 5pts. And that's because we were tied and then lost in overtime or shootout. Better goaltending and we would have been in the hunt.

Trading for either of them would’ve been terrible
Brutal Cap hits to production ratio

Saying the fans on here could do a better job is nothing more than another gross exaggeration

- jdfitz77

well the rookie gm had to bur salary cap for 20-21 for his bonehead moves at the deadline

this franchise is a joke right now

8 extra teams got in the playoffs and we still couldn't sneak into the field of 24

the fans that bought the team has done a pathetic job running the sabres and to think they are above all of us regarding hockey iq is insane

at least I probably will not live to see the day when his daughters are running the team and moving them to a more glamorous city

He apparently had some underlying condition and played 3 games in a 59 (I think) day stretch. He played great to start the season and was serviceable to end the season.

Olofsson was on pace for almost 70 prior to the injury.

Throw Kahun up there for 82 games and I’d be willing to bet he’d get 60 points too.

I can see your deep into the brown liquor tonight

Botts not trading for PK & Kessel were outstanding
Non-moves

And Tage a 60point winger???
Heck... in 70 career AHL games he’s got 41pts
Let’s see the kid at least have a dominant season down there before u go crowning him a legit RW1

What he’s saying is Reinhart is really good and isn’t just Jack’s wingman
