really, you should ask other team's fans about how they think about Nylander - you'll see that most fans will compare him with players on their teams you feel are in the category of '2nd liners' (/ fringe 1st liners).

examples:

konecny (phi), lindholm (cgy), oshie (wsh), hoffman (flo), saad (chi), jarnkrok (nsh), teravainen (car), eberle (nyi), etc.

most of those teams would have to think hard before giving up those players for nylander - personally I only think Nylander is clearly better than Eberle - rest quite equal.

Saad, Jarnkrok, Eberle and Konecny are not as good as Nylander. Also, Hoffman played on a line with Barkov and Huberdeau. If you think Nylander is equal to Teravainen, would you trade Hintz for Teravainen?

hoffman (flo) - nearing the end of his prime. Drama. Nope.
saad (chi) - ha! No. The guy Chicago traded for him is better though.

teravainen (car) - he might be better.
eberle (nyi) - maybe 10 years ago.

Maybe Nylander and Johnsson for Klingberg, Hintz and Faksa. Even still, I think that Nylander alone should get that type of return.

question is whether Leafs can turn Nylander, Kerfoot, Johnsson into Hintz + a proper 3rd line C + 1RHD (seems Nylander + something for Hintz should work), and trade Andersen to a team for picks/prospects - Holtby a UFA signing (I assume 7-8.5mln on a 7year deal).
Return for Kerfoot, Johnsson, Freddy should go to the 3C and 1RHD.

Not sure if there are any big demand for Kerfoot, Johnsson since on a bit inflated contracts.
