Sadly, I doubt we'll be able to put the genie back in the bottle. This is the downside of freedom - when Big Government tells people what to do - even if it is clearly for the benefit of all - stupid people will cry "but muh freedom!" despite the potential carnage a public health crisis can wreak left unchecked.
Countries like Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan have a much easier time beating a pandemic because they are much tighter cultures. Tight cultures are far more compliant when it comes to giving up individual freedoms for the greater good. |

I’m interested to see how it plays out here. The issue has become politicized in the States but not so much here. In both countries most people are opposed to opening too quickly the economy too quickly and are ready to accept some continued restrictions. My guess is that most people want to go out but don’t want to see the bull poop that happened yesterday. The trick for government is going to be to pull back enough without alienating everyone. |

If numbers keep going up I could see that for stores and indoor settings |

I drove by my local yesterday. They are open for takeout.
The windows were open and the patio looked so good I wanted to cry. |

I know two people who like sour beers.
Both said the same thing. It tastes like sh1t at first but the more you drink it the more you get used to it.
I guess the obvious question should be "why?"

A neighbor left one. I opened it, pronounced the taste as awful to my wife...
...and I am still drinking it.
Told her i wanted to see if it gets better. |

I think it's time for Canada to make masks mandatory - PatC80
You think??
About a month ago lieberals shamed Canadians who had masks for their families saying it was "selfish" to use one when we have a shortage and front-line workers should be prioritized - meanwhile the shortage was because THEY sent all those masks to china
This is your typical lieberal lunacy bullsh!t
tam was parroting the who - the who is not a medical organization, it's a political entity of the united nations that's been co-opted by china. Who is tam working for?
Then the lieberals send more money to communist china by trying to buy masks from them and the vast majority end up defective
So we GAVE away our health equipment for nothing, then we had to BUY masks back from china which in turn were faulty. What happened to that (frank)ing money???
Instead of refusing to do business with china any longer because of their grave disrespect towards Canadians the lieberals then make Canada the ONLY country who teamed up with communist china and their military to manufacture a vaccine despite allies speaking loudly against it
Are we going to pretend like there's not some serious money laundering and bribery going on here?
They are corrupt to the core |
