Which is the same as saying it’s ok if a few elderly people die.

Ppl will die of many things worldwide. Nothing is ok about it but it’s reality.

I know but I’m saying that’s what people’s mentality is. It’s just normal for people to die, what’s a few more.

People do not want to do the isolation thing any longer, they want a sense of normalcy.

I hate to be THAT guy, but things will never be 'normal' ever again, not after this. After this pandemic is over a lot of things will never be the same and we as a people will not be the same. This virus still can mutate into something much more deadly and contagious than it is and it wouldn't take all that much.

Wave one was on par to a flu season. It was very well maintained.

Now try to convince people to stay inside for wave two. It will not be accepted to well and that is where the numbers can really jump

Here is a chart of wave two 1918 Spanish flu

I'd probably watch every hockey game just to see what player will turn during the game, they'd have to make the penalty boxes much stronger.

Normalcy is a fluid thing throughout history, it’s an ever evolving thing, a straight line for normality doesn’t exist.

Upcoming hockey is going to look like a SciFi movie. It's going to be a gong show. All discussions on the broadcast will be Covid Covid Covid. I social distance pretty much year round and I'm a low risk person so it's been easy to be safe at the same time as turning the noise off on it. To me it's going to have a negative vibe at the best of times.

I already wrote the season off. I'm not opposed to the return but it doesnt excite me at this point.

I agree, it’s an event, like 911 was, that will change the way we interact with each other forever. At least, with people we don’t know. Ironically, it’s the people we do know who are most likely to pass on the (a) virus...

Truthfully what gets me is the planet was cleaning itself . Pollution ,smog, less traffic , water systems were cleansing and now we will be back to destroying everything again.

People can deny and call it crap but the images of seeing the Himalayas for the first time in decades and the canals in Venice. We really are our own worst enemy.
