I miss the days when we had "buffer season" between cold and scorching heat

so I guess you have a salt treatment system for your pool..? I heard it's a bit more expensive but way better than chlorine (although Trump would argue otherwise lol)

Yeah, was already installed when I bought the house. You put ~100 kg of pool salt in the pool at the beginning of the summer, set the machine chlorine output and you're set. You have to check chlorine once in a while and adjust the output but even when I'm gone for 2-3 weeks I come back and my pool is still fine. Have to change the cell that transforms salt into chlorine every 4-5 years, costs about 450$.

low maintenance, that's cool. I think it's gonna be a good day to try it out, supposed to get to like 40 celsius this afternoon or something

Yeah well now I have to wait 24h after putting in the salt before starting the chlorine machine...could still swim even without chlorine though.

oh I wasn't sarcastic, I'm sure it's totally fine, although I wonder to what extent it's true that you can build/maintain your immune system by exposing it to different bacteria or whatever.

this Joel Salatin guy was talking on Joe Rogan about how he drinks water from the same bucket as his cows do, to take advantage of those "microbiomes"... apparently he's 63 years old and he's never been sick in his life lol

reading this I realized the players haven't voted for an official return to play yet, they only voted for a playoff format, in the eventuality that they can come back.. so they still haven't agreed on the logistics

I wouldn't do it but I understand why. Dirty countries don't all have the auto-immune diseases we got here.

Le filtreur va le filtrer. Le chlore va tuer les bactéries. Va quand même falloir que tu laves la marde que j'vais tirer sur ta vitre de char.
