Such an easy B.

Willie Nye has a better chance against B.

Oh, we’re still doing the misogyny matchups?

Very cool.

- Arctic_AARDVARK

This would be pretty much the opposite of misogyny. Thanks for being like the rest of the (frank)ing idiots who throw out that word without a clue.

No, why would you? Just be like the rest of us unemployed bums getting eaten to death by black flies.

My stupid propane water heater had water left in it so it froze and cracked a pipe, took it apart soldered, still has a drip, but at least its usable, hooked up my pump and the hot water pipe for my shower had split in two places and I have no pipe to replace it. So now I bypassed everything and hooked up an out door shower. But that was yesterday, today I do nothing.

Mowed, treadmilled, put up lights in our backyard Gazebo and heading out to play golf.

Tomorrow, I am doing nothing.

At least you can do this stuff. I would have spent the day calling plumbers to see if I could get one to come fix it.

Plumber would say they are 170 bucks, buy a new one, and way back when, when I had money I would have. But hey look I saved 170 bucks for not being lazy

I ordered a replacement arm for my dishwasher and installed it myself.

Installation was just snapping one part into place - no tools required - but Mrs. Wedgie thinks I did a big thing.

Plus I needed a shower and it's non essential so the delivery time was 8 to 10 days.

It IS a big thing. I have fixed the washing machine, air conditioner and dishwasher over the last couple years by looking up videos on Youtube and ordering parts and DIY. None of them were even remotely difficult, but I bet between the 3 of them I saved anywhere from 600-1000.

So you make sure you get the respect you have earned

Anybody who says a shower is non essential is full of it, sure I could jump in the 65 degree River, but at my age that might be heart attack inducing.

Played one little bit of a song on guitar over and over, sat in sun in back yard, went for swim. May go to hardware store for peony cages. (They keep escaping.)

There's a sticker on the side of the door with the model number and toll-free number.

The part was easier to install than snapping two pieces of Lego together.

But sure, I am a hero. I have even cracked a beer to celebrate.

I have been sitting on this for the past three hours.

Sadly, my backyard does not have that view.

That was like my ice maker on my fridge, the auger wouldn't turn, I took it off and the part number was on it. Got it on eBay for about 20 bucks. Imagine the repairman price.

Oh my God, that is the funniest thing I have ever heard.

Edit: I totally ripped you off and made the wife and kids laugh.
