Every day....hmmmmm.

Pierogi.

or

Pasta

My hands down favourite food is Ahi Tuna, but every day...can’t see it.

So...pasta it is. Do dumplings count as pasta?

Are tortellini and ravioli dumplings?

Leafs are screwed either way" If they win it doesn't count as "Winning a round'. if they lose it does count towards no series wins since 04'.
- RogerRoeper

CBJ didn’t use the injury excuse nor losing players. What say you about that Pom pommer?

Interesting point - I had a Finnish colleague in my work group years ago. On one of his visits he emptied my liquor cabinet. His capacity to drink and hold a high level conversation was astonishing.

This is true of many Finnish people. I like to consider myself among them but slowing down now in my mid 30s... ain't what she used to be that's for sure.

Actually you know what I can still drink 30 beers in a day, but I regret it way more the next day than I used to. That's the difference.

If I went 30 beers deep, I'd have no recollection of that entire day.

Wouldn’t want to live without pasta. Right now eating cherry tomatoes, oil oil, garlic, chilli peppers and parm. If you have fresh anything there’s nothing better than pasta
- Canada Cup

Yeah man

Fresh herbs on pasta too

And especially fresh pasta, can't beat it

Gimme an italian garden and a pasta machine and I'd be happy

That’s absolutely massive.

Most valuable to the Leafs imo.

Matthews
Rielly
Marner
Andersen
Tavares
Muzzin

Really?

Because he didn’t play great (thanks Barrie) and most fans seemed to have bailed on him. He didn’t save them every night this year, and it effected them in the standings.

Disagree. The team will only go as far as Andersen can take them. Not being a defensive minded team means the Leafs need to rely on Freddy.

If I drank 30 beers I wouldn’t be alive to tell you the story..,,

I could maybe do 20 if I started in the morning and went all day but even that is a stretch.

I would actually probably fall asleep for long mid day nap.

Clb is missing that top offensive threat too. No panarin this year, no bobrovsky.....leafs still have that top end talent with Matthews, Marner, Tavares and nylander...should be a good match up for the leafs to succeed
- bryant

CBJ has the same points & had more injuries. Torts will have them playing a tough PO brand of hockey. Should be a very good series.

Leafs played under expectations and clb played over their heads this year...I would gladly bet leafs win this series with ease.

Team D will be the decider imo. Leafs could run n gun to a series win but not very likely. Freddie needs to play great & all buy in to grinding it out. CBJ is not fun to play against.

I’d rather put it as defensive warts showed up in the Leafs overall game hence inconsistencies & CBJ is a well coached hard working team before & after Panarin/Bobrovsky. They are easily in the toughest division in hockey. They bring their style every night & I take nothing away from them.

Considering the leafs almost had an identical record/PT% with half of CBJ’s NHL team....

Fully healthy Jackets in 4

Not taking anything away from them but they’re missing the star power this year. Maybe they’ll be a Cinderella story but I don’t see it. Every team would be starting over and no momentum would be coming into the series.

Leafs had injury issues all year, I don’t think they had a full lineup once. Plus I fully believed they mailed it in with babcock good or bad.

Starting the playoffs out of the gate I feel defence won’t be that good for either team which is why I think it’s advantage Toronto.

I think defence is easier to get up to speed for CBJ with this long lay off. Goalies are hard to predict on how they will play & for me could be the weak link til up to speed. The Leafs cannot be flat nor shoddy D out of the gate against a team like CBJ. It’s a very tough draw if this happens. A healthy Jones & Josh are types of players the Leafs don’t have & CBJ needs them to step up.

Just curious if this PO will decide which way Dubas goes forward. Barring a deep run will he commit to remaking the D & move contracts to do so or stay the course?

Now look at the Leafs' record since the coaching change, and share that with Nighthawk.

Thank you for calling.

PIT vs MON - Stupid

Winner of TOR vs CBJ plays BOS - Stupid, unfair for both teams

Chicago and Arizona don't belong in the playoff picture whatsoever.

Winner of CGY vs. WPG plays STL - Stupid, unfair for both teams.

They have gone over dozens of ideas and they're going with one of the worst ones. Typical NHL. They got the same people who implemented shootouts working on this.

May as well call it the COVID Cup.

I’m fully aware of the record. I never liked Babcock & said he was overrated. Tbh glad he was canned. Keefe has done well but who wouldn’t with his F’s. Dubas needs to give more parts to truly find out.

Coaching change didn't do poop to improve the Leafs for the playoffs. They still suck at almost everything defensively.

The only "advantage" the Leafs may have is if the play-ins are like October hockey and the Leafs can get away with trying to win every game 6-5.
