Cash strapped Pegulas won’t be breaking the bank for any UFAs.
Season ticket renewals will be down almost certainly.
When will fans be allowed to attend games?
Will Canadians be as eager to “skip the ditch”??

I have no problem bringing in Dylan Strome, but you better bring in another center, aside from bringing back Larsson, who can play well defensively at center, as Dylan Strome ranks the following in 2 key defensive metrics out of all NHL forwards who played at least 200 minutes last year:
Key Metric 1: 546th out of 673
Key Metric 2: 513th out of 673
For context, this is where Monahan ranks defensively:
Key Metric 1: 639th out of 673
Key Metric 2: 579th out of 673
Either one of those two are absolutely going to need a center that can handle heavy defensive assignments as neither of those two have shown they can handle that at all so far in their careers. - kingcong39
What exactly are these “key metrics” u speak of? |

So, great let's focus love on 94th best line in the league!
Wooooothoooy! Lol.
What is misguided is those that were willing to pay Girgs and Johan upwards of $3m for 3+ years, making that best 4th line a $12m line.
Bring him back at 1x$1.8 great.
Else, hello Mr Lazar, glad you are here. - IonSabres

I was very vocal and still am, especially now with a tighter cap - IonSabres
Never once did i say to pay them $3mil
You’ve got no clue wtf you’re talking about,
as usual
What i have said REPEATEDLY about their Cap Hits is that they might not even be over $2mil per season bc of the Cap not going up
Go ahead & link to where i (or anyone for that matter) thinks they should get $3mil

Corsi related stats are best used in a team context, not individual

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic but it is in fact correct. - Michael Ghofrani
Yes, it's being sarcastic. Some think that a player that is putting up his best numbers in 6 years that would be 2nd on the team in EV goals playing a primarily defensive role is starting the downfall. Others think that a 2 time Cup champion that has played behind 5 HOF centers would be a good stopgap 2C that could be resigned and become a good 3C. |

Funny how people think the Pegula's are cash strapped, but they just dished out 120mill for players. |

There's a difference in being liquid and making payroll.
Edit: I have no idea their financial situation, but it's an awful look to put "lifestyle" into a business meeting. |

Maybe it's because they had to pause the building of their new yacht (without considering that it may have been deemed nonessential.) |

Season tickets will certainly be down across the league. A combination of the economy and the limited seating (all depending on when fans can go and how many. )
If less seating is available across the league, then I think Canadians will definitely be buying any unsold seat here (less seats in TO as well. ), if the border is open.
