If he were to become a perennial 90-point center, his inability to play defense should be the least of any team's worries. - buffalofan19
Consider me highly dubious of his ability to be an 80-90 point center, which is why I brought up his defensive ability. |

Why a player like hornqvist could help him
But honestly I don't care he's going to be a really good center and getting him for 6-6.5 for 8 years will be huge |

Which is beyond ridiculous
My buddy married a girl from Mexico
They did everything right
Got an immigration lawyer & started the process a full year before the marriage
Finally just found out she was approved...
Only took TWO AND A HALF YEARS
And that’s with the Lawyer to make sure everything was perfectly done every step of the way
The process u speak of is an ABSOLUTE JOKE - jdfitz77
I brought my wife over from the Philippines 3 yrs ago, and it took 14 months. It Sucks. The problem stems from the government workers who process all the paperwork, they don't give a crap about your delays, made mistakes on their end, it's next to impossible to get someone on the phone. I tried to talk to supervisors, and there are so many layers of incompetence, and no one in those positions ever gets fired or removed for being a lazy POS!

I'd still get a center, put one on the wing if needed |

So you want someone who is older than Bonino, makes more money for more years to help your defensive liability center who regressed this year, and in two years will be your 3C not scoring 80-90 points. Got it. |

I mean most don’t even appreciate Larry and they watched one of the better defensive teams in the league this season.
Are you surprised ? - Pegullaville
It isn't that it goes unappreciated.
Rather many fans, including me are sick of this roster as a bottom 7 team going on eternity now. One that is so devoid of point production and one that plays a boring style that rivals NJD trap teams in yawns per minute (their xYPM leads the league for 5 years running). People are at their wits end with a roster comprised 4 -5 good forwards and an abundance of 4th liners. To rave about said 4th line while winning 25th place seems a bit off.
Sure their xGF is great...too bad their AGF is lackluster, especially given the minutes they play.
It like tuning into a porn site, then watching a show of 2 guys talking about sex.
Man, those guys are great at the discussion, but not what people came to watch. |

I have no problem bringing in Dylan Strome, but you better bring in another center, aside from bringing back Larsson, who can play well defensively at center, as Dylan Strome ranks the following in 2 key defensive metrics out of all NHL forwards who played at least 200 minutes last year:
Key Metric 1: 546th out of 673
Key Metric 2: 513th out of 673
For context, this is where Monahan ranks defensively:
Key Metric 1: 639th out of 673
Key Metric 2: 579th out of 673
Either one of those two are absolutely going to need a center that can handle heavy defensive assignments as neither of those two have shown they can handle that at all so far in their careers. - kingcong39
I'll take them
Go get Bonino for 3rd line.
Problem solved.
As you alluded too, why does it have to be either or |

LOG line doesn’t control the number of minutes they play and they are the best 4th line in hockey, or close to it, if used correctly.
I believe your frustration is misguided and is more towards our crater of a middle 6 which required us to play our 4th line as a 2nd line. |

So, great let's focus love on 94th best line in the league!
Wooooothoooy! Lol.
What is misguided is those that were willing to pay Girgs and Johan upwards of $3m for 3+ years, making that best 4th line a $12m line.
Bring him back at 1x$1.8 great.
Else, hello Mr Lazar, glad you are here.

Where do you get that info?
Is there really any site that tracks position reliably, rather than merely linemates?
Last time someone mentioned this we found out the site's suggested lineup as arranged alphabetically by linemates?
I'm not doubting you, but I reallyhavent found a reliable website.
CF's >>Fantasy Tool>>Depth Chart shows him as center with Kane and Nylander as does Daily Faceoff |

Blues were pretty boring from January on last year but there was a lot of excitement in June because of it. |

I never said anything about Girgensons, just Larsson.
We are stuck with Okposo whether we like it or not.
