Had all the run dmc albums on vinyl 😀
What's the summer car?

- Boss34

Got an F150 and got rid of my Wrangler and '94 Grand Marquis. Jeeps aren't good in the snow. Especially the older shorter ones.

A TJ wrangler with a 5-speed manual is fantastic in the snow. Between 4-high and 4-low, you can get through anything. They can get a little squirrelly above 65 in snow, but they can get through anything. I learned to drive stick on an '04 Sahara. They are absolute beasts

Mine was a '95 with a little bigger tires and it took nothing to start doing doughnuts in an intersection going 10-15 mph (not on purpose) . I learned stick on a Chevette and the first car I owned was a Plymouth Horizon (dodge omni) but was a FWD and was great in the snow.

Apparently Tampa was one of the two teams that voted no against the 24 team format because they didn't want the chance to face Columbus again.

I prefer 4WD or RWD in the snow. The '04 Sahara i mentioned was my dad's. My first car was a RWD '95 Mercedes C220 I bought in 2010. I put studded tires and 200 pounds of sand in the trunk. That (frank)er could rip through the snow and powerslide with the best of em.

I have a 2017 6-speed manual, optional 4WD Jeep Renegade now and I don't think it handles as well in the snow as the RWD Merc.

It'll take a couple seasons, but they are screwed without Stevie Y in my opinion.

He is elite at exiting the zone with possession and entering the zone with possession. He excels in transition although the offensive numbers leave a lot to be desired.

Chad makes a good point in the article below that if they adjust his usage it will benefit him. Playing on the right side exclusively with someone other than Risto would also help. I think paired with Brodin in a more defensive role with more defensive zone starts it would allude to his strengths more of getting the puck up the ice

McCabe-Miller would be an ideal third pairing.

Or if you are in the move both Risto and Montour camp for help up front then Miller could slot in a top 4 role and Borgen can play the third pair.

Ideally I’d bridge Montour and move Risto and have Borgen as the 7th. Can never have enough depth. If Borgen proves he is ready then you can entertain moving an extended Montour afterwords.

- Pegullaville

I love how everyone assumes he’s ready
He’s played ONLY 4 games in the NHL

Trading both Montour & Risto is a mistake
That puts Miller on pair2, when he should be on the 3rd pair
And Borgen in the nightly lineup out of necessity instead of knowing he’s ready for it

Haven’t we learned yet from past mistakes?
Let’s not keep doing the same dumb things that have burned us over & over
Time to move forward

Yep, and gonna have to see what Bryson can bring to the table also, he might need another year in the AHL but he looks close.
- Buff36

Bryson & Borgen should be call-ups
Not guys locked in to make the opening night roster
We don’t know if they’re ready yet,
and we don’t have anyone behind them who can come up & play when injuries happen
Let them be the 1st pair down in Rochester to start the season

I've been on the trade Ristolainen and Montour while signing one of Pietrangelo or Brodie mentality for quite a while now.

I don't hate risto
I don't hate montour

neither will ever be a number 1 d man

joker in year one was only a half beat behind both of these "vets"

I am all for moving a bunch of guys from these roster to get a few more difference makers

that's what we need, not warm bodies
not 30 point d men

difference makers

As an admittedly biases Sabres fan, I totally agree with what Brooks wrote about the draft.

There is zero reason to give a safety net to teams that lose in the first round. They'd already be getting a better pick by losing in the initial round.

agreed...and I also like the idea that every "Stigmatized Seven" team gets a shot at the first overall pick...in fact i'd take it a step further and have the top-two slots up for grabs...

Detroit is clearly the worst team and then it's only a matter of six points separating Ottawa from Buffalo, although the points-percentage is a little wider...

Odds for first-overall should go something like this:

25
18
16
13
11
9
8

$9M?

which would give the Sabres a $17M top-pairing defense in 2021-22

I'd put Who's Been Sleeping in My Brain out there

but I doubt any of you know the band that did that cassette

- homiedclown

Wow. Someone else knows about Alien Sex Fiend...one of my favorite bands of all-time. I'm constantly posting them on Instagram (the only social media I use), and they've "liked" many of my posts (see #kritter_65) ... And what's funny is that I was THIS close to posting their debut album in my top 5 list - but put Tears for Fears in there instead.

Still shocked. I guess this means we're best friends now.
