Agreed. Toronto and Arizona should be very interested if that's the case. A second rounder should be reasonable for a top-10 d-man
- Michael Pachla

Top 10 defensively only. Offensively, he's a total non-factor.

I have zero interest in paying Montour north of $4M on his next deal. No thanks.

Term would be the factor here

His offensive numbers leave a lot to be desired because he is totally inept once he enters the offensive zone, despite having all the physical gifts to be much better then he actually is.

Sounds a lot like another RHD the Sabres have on the roster...

- kingcong39

I still think he can be a 2nd pair d-man in the right role. Question is if the coaching staff can put him in that role.

Dahlin-Miller
McCabe-Montour
Pilut/Bryson-Joker

Would be my d-corps to start the year if we had to go with what we had currently.

Risto should be moved for help up front or for a similar package for what we got for Montour.

Would you pay him say $4.5M next year or $4.8M for each of the next 2 years and feel comfortable doing it? I would not.

I think they could get the same or better quality of play for much less than the $10M combined Ristolainen and Montour will cost starting next season.

I'd trade both of them.

McCabe-Miller would be an ideal third pairing.

Or if you are in the move both Risto and Montour camp for help up front then Miller could slot in a top 4 role and Borgen can play the third pair.

Ideally I’d bridge Montour and move Risto and have Borgen as the 7th. Can never have enough depth. If Borgen proves he is ready then you can entertain moving an extended Montour afterwords.

Pretty sure they can't bridge him at 26. Either they pay him or he's going UFA in the next 12-24 months. Considering Botterill spent a 1st to get him, he'll probably sign Montour to a sizable deal

I agree. 64 years old, work part time doing something you love. Still call the games. Something he is really good at. I imagine he is financially secure.

IDK, I’d say there is something to it. Dumb they switched that show to tv and put it at 12:00 time slot. Way better at 7:00 radio only. So what if u miss a few nights during hockey season. I miss Kelso too. Wood is fine and all, but Kelso was awesome at breaking down a game. Loved it when he would preview the upcoming game Friday before.

I would call Colorado and see if they would swap Montour for Zadorov. They only have 2 natural RD with the Avs and only one prospect in the minors. Zadorov brings some much needed size and physicality.

if he is the 7th or 8th best d man

trade him now for a young center

- homiedclown

Have no problem with that.

The year Alex Van Pelt called games on the radio he demonstrated that he had the same ability Romo got so much credit for on MNF: he saw and called the plays before they happened.

If/when the Bill's start winning, like the superbowl years.
Everyone player will have a show again. The good ole days.

The bruce Smith and Thurman thomas "a football life" were on back to back the other night, followed by the houston comeback game. Talk about good tv.

The Bills have built a strong 53 man roster. They should be competitive this year imo.

Just tell your dip $hit of a OC to run the ball more and you’ll be alright.

I actually don’t blame daboll. He’s called some good plays that Allen can’t make the throws on.

Also singletary I’m not sure can carry the full load. Due to his size issues and gore was shot by the end of the season

There's a lot of Dabol bashing among fans.

I think he did a great job with Josh. Good continuity keeping them together.

Drafting another rb in the 3rd round = more running plays

* I saw an article , that gore wasnt happy with his carry totals near the end of last year. Backs your point. 👍

Flacco has a junior Buffalo Bill's starter fan kit.

He's going to come around as soon as Denver flops ( again)

The bandwagon is wide open

Gore was burnt out at the end of the year so I don’t blame them for the lack of touches.

Singletary gets 5-10 more touches against the Texans and they win that game.

I agree with you to some degree. Putting the playoff game in the hands of a rookie though?

Young legs at rb, it's the nfl.

What's gonna happen in Denver?
1. Gordon
2. Lindsay
3. Freeman

Hows this gonna keep everyone happy? Whats your % of usage per back?

No way Allen should have thrown the ball 46 times in that Houston game. Should have been running the ball down there throats.

50/50 split between Gordon and Lindsay. I think Freeman is just depth at this point or a roster causality. Don’t really have a reason to cut him though considering 75% of the offence is on rookie deals.

49ers had Mahomes on the ropes

Bills had Watson on the ropes.

Both got away from what was working the first 3 quarters and couldn’t hang on in the 4th.

Patiences.
Kym is busy panhandling on Rodeo Dr to collect enough for the arena workers pay for the cancelled games.
THEN, she'll have time for very caring Facebook post.

I think as coaches you go into a game, and NEED to put a certain amount of points to feel comfortable.

The magic number is probably 25ish-30ish?

Hard to get there, by running the ball the whole game

It's the opposite of mediocre qb with great d
Which you have been advocating

* which I agree with, but there's different ways to win
