"daily 3 hour grind"

can't think of any sane person that would turn down good money to just talk about something they love for 3 hours a day

- homiedclown

At 64. Murphy is basically gonna work part time.
Still calling the Bill's games from what I hear?

How much is he making?

I bet they did save some money with Brown and maddy

Have you considered moving south, to the USA?

Obviously there's the huge negative, but it should be gone before winter. šŸ˜‰

Housing market would be a great upside. Especially if you could work from home or work close to the border.

We are currently looking in London, Ontario as that is where she grew up and where her family is located. Itā€™s more affordable then where Iā€™m located right now (about 35 minutes away from Toronto)

Perhaps somewhere along the line that would definitely be a possibility.

Time flies. It feels weird idolizing players im now older then.

Feels like two weeks ago I was getting up to no good in first year university now Iā€™m 2 months shy of my quarter life crisis. Fitting that itā€™s during a pandemic.

he was only there for 16 games his body was going down for some reason
a player like him should have been in the NHL till 36 get upwards to 60- 90 pts

he did not seem like a person that would do drugs so idk

- gerbe75pts

The story I heard from a guy who is really good friends with an NHL player is that Vinny loves to party and his wife lets him see hookers on the road because he likes to have his ā€œoil checkedā€ when doing the freak nasty. His wife considers that act ā€œdegoutezā€ and he has to get the digital release from ladies of the night.

Check out St. Thomas. 15 min south and some beautiful Homes and spacious yards. No traffic or homeless wackoids begging for money at the stop lights. If you told, you can play at Union (first rate course). Paved trails everywhere to exercise and 10 min to beach a port Stanley. Plus you save a fortune on home prices, and get the same services. Worth a drive out. Lots of new places going up.

A good friend and his wife left white oaks (lives there their entire lives) and love it here. 18 min drive to white oaks.

No otph at the grocery store though.

Lafreniere and Eichel would rank up there with some of the best Sabres duos ever.

However if Ottawa got 2 and 3 and offered both Iā€™d probably do that. Eichel-Byfield-Cozens down the middle would be the closest thing you could get to what the Penguins had for years (Crosby-Malkin-J.Staal). Then on top of that you could add a Raymond/Rossi/Stutzle. That would make what Toronto has look like childā€™s play.

Would u rather have both Ottawaā€™s picks,
OR
1 of them + Tkachuk?

How desperately does Ottawa want pick1?
What do we have to add to get picks 2 & 3 AND Tkachuk?

Huh?
Weā€™re already starting at Ottawa giving up their 2 picks for 1 overall

Tkachuk isnā€™t gonna cost Dahlin

I thought you were talking about what the Sabres would have to give, to get up there. Maybe Detroit gives up 1 of there young C. If we had the 1st pick, Mitts-Johnson. Maybe Cozens.

I gotcha...
yeah, i was going off what ppl were talking about before where the Sabres win the top pick
And the rumors that Ottawa would be willing to give up their 2 picks in the top5 for #1

So my questions then were:

1- would u want the 2 picks, or 1 of the picks plus Brady Tkachuk?

OR

2- what would we have to add to get Tkachuk and the 2 picks from them?

I mean I was just exaggerating a bit there in my post but upon further research it actually looks like itā€™s a lot more prevalent now then before.

I had a few hockey tournaments in St.Thomas once upon a time but canā€™t say for the life of me I remember many details about it but Iā€™ll definitely take a look.

I mean I highly doubt we get pick 1 Regardless but it made for some interesting fantasy scenarios.

We may even have to add to 1OA just to get picks 2 and 3. If they include Tkachuk on top of that I would think they would want Joker included forsure.

if the sabres had pick 1 overall and wanted to move it for pick 2 and 3

probably adding cozens and joker to get those picks

easy pass IMO

I don't know. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case, but it sounds like he doesn't need to work this much anymore, so he is just choosing not to.

Iā€™m just hoping we take a forward in the 7-9 hole and if we end up picking any higher then Iā€™ll adjust my expectations then.

If the Sabres win first overall, Ottawa would have nos. 3 and 4. Kinda changes the dynamic for Buffalo.

Right?
