No, they won't. The testing capacity alone will prevent that.
The amount of people being tested are going up, and the percentage of those people testing positive is going down. Once they figure out the logistics of this thing, they will have a season, as they should. - buffalofan19
I wonder what they're going to do vis-a-vis testing. Are they going to go the JRE route and use the non-FDA certified antibody testing? How many people does it take to run a hockey team? 50? Times 24 for the first round. That's 1200 tests just once, that seems like an awful lot of tests to take out of circulation considering there's still some shortages; and I'd guess they'd have to test at least twice a week. |

If they want to start tomorrow, they can't do it, but Governor Cuomo said today that New York state has a surplus of tests. They're looking for people to take tests now. Unless there is some sort of disaster in production, which I can't see would happen unless it was intentional at this point, they will have enough tests this time next month. |

why should any one be mad about family's trying to get a better life ? i think it's amazing what some do just to come here |

I've never heard of this calculator that tries to project NHL points based on Euroleague stats. That's very interesting if it's accurate.
If he can score more and cost less than our current Larrys, I'm in. Does he PK? - jcragcrumple
In it's most basic form, it tries to project based on past cases of players coming over from certain leagues. gathers an average and creates a multiplier that you can convert to points over 82 games.
I would treat it as a rough estimate of potential or ceiling I guess. Accuracy definitely varies by league and age group too.
same model would project dimitri jaskin to score around 60-70 points over 82 games in the NHL based on his results in the KHL this year.
I like Jaskin, but that's probably a pipe dream |

Wasn't it developed by that crazy (frank)in British dork Neil Ferguson?
Didn't he project Viktor Antipin to have like 76 points?

if nucks can sign Toffoli, their next focus is RD
I heard they reached out and threw Pearson, Baertschi, mid prospect up front and non first round for montour/risto
- homiedclown
Well Baertschi is a cap dump
Was playing in the AHL last season at a Cap hit of 2.29mil
So that pick is basically to take him I’d say
So Pearson for Montour or Risto?
Pretty decent player, but his stats are inflated playing with Horvat & Boesser
And since he’s another LW...
that means he’d be on Line3 with us, and his stats would certainly drop
I gotta think of we are trading a RD,
we’d be looking for either a Center or RW
To do this trade...
1- I’d want the pick to be a 1st
but we’d give them a 2nd, so essentially they’d just be trading back half a round or so
2- Add on Gaudette
So essentially...
Montour/Risto for Pearson + the trade up in picks
and then we get Gaudette for taking Baertschi
Maybe we add a mid round pick? |

Just get Bonino (a very good 3C) and play Skinner and Reinhart with him.
Make a Montour or Risto deal for a good RW to play with Eichel and Olo. There’s the top 6.
Keep Larsson, play Asplund at wing and see if he can take over Girgs role.
Let Thompson/Cozens/Mitts/Ruostolainen battle for spots |

Which is beyond ridiculous
My buddy married a girl from Mexico
They did everything right
Got an immigration lawyer & started the process a full year before the marriage
Finally just found out she was approved...
Only took TWO AND A HALF YEARS
And that’s with the Lawyer to make sure everything was perfectly done every step of the way
The process u speak of is an ABSOLUTE JOKE |

Nope
She was NOT allowed to live here even after they were married
What kind of dogsh!t is that?
Do EVERYTHING right
And your wife isn’t allowed to move here for more than a year & a half now
Utter ridiculousness
It’s not like they got married on a whim
Started the process a full year before they were married |

I don’t buy that at all
You’re telling me none of CLE, NYJ or BUF wanted Russel Wilson over the rookie QB those teams drafted?
No way
There’s gotta be more to this story,
or it’s just plain wrong |

In all likelihood that's the type of player Botterill will target. We'll be somewhere between 14th-18th next year under that plan |
